As this stage, I'm deciding how many parts I will piece together with seams, and how many will be appliquéd. Cures are a challenge, but not impossible. :)Chris https://www.blogger.com/profile/13715819899708384147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284944855633609232.post-18354043476581895362017-03-12T07:15:12.181+10:002017-03-12T07:15:12.181+10:00What an awesome project, good luck with the progre...What an awesome project, good luck with the progress and have fun.
I have been making quilts for many years so if you need help or advice let me know.
MargaretPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12990336317308988689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284944855633609232.post-27515279884105314002017-03-11T10:37:27.531+10:002017-03-11T10:37:27.531+10:00Thanks Chel and Meg. I like the idea of crazy quilts, using up bits of fabric like that.Chris https://www.blogger.com/profile/13715819899708384147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8284944855633609232.post-30331554213874712942017-03-10T17:53:35.698+10:002017-03-10T17:53:35.698+10:00What a beautiful, homemade gift in the making, Chr...What a beautiful, homemade gift in the making, Chris. I have rarely used specialty quilting fabric. I use fabrics leftover from other projects, old clothes cut up, old sheets and doona covers. I have a project on the go that I needed backing for. I found the right colour blue in an old cotton doona cover for $3 at the local oppie.
Have fun with you quilt and do what makes your heart sing. Lots of luck.Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06964345893499561504noreply@blogger.com
