Too...Yes the Araucanas lay a lovely blue/green egg. Took some getting used to at first. I didn't eat them straight away - but now they're used just like regular eggs.<br><br>The orpingtons I have are bantams (about half size) as the standard ones are enormous. I visited a lady once, who had a orpington rooster which was as high as my knee-caps. <br><br>Beautiful bird but way too big for me. :)<br><br>I'd love to know how you go at the show, and what breeds you find.
