Thank you

As I get back to blogging again, and saw all your friendly faces drop in for a chat, I would like to thank you all, for reading my blog. I know life can be busy, so when you take the time to comment, I feel touched that you do!

For those who have stuck with me so long, thank you. To those who are new, I'm pleased to meet you. And for those who don't comment, I'm an introvert too! I get all that you do. It's enough to have you visit. Thank you!

Here's to another year of blogging, and chatting with friends. I'm grateful for all your kind contributions. If I could give you a virtual cookie (not the Google kind) on my blogging table, it would be warm, chewy, home-made, and possibly covered in chocolate!

Cheers.

  1. Love your interesting post, so very different from my lifestyle, plus we like to snoop and see what others are doing. Happy New Year.

    1. It's great to hear how others are doing things, differently. I always get such wonderful ideas from other commenters, I can adapt here. Thanks for visiting!

  2. Chris I had a rather long break from blogging myself. I have been still blog reading though, but I usually do that on my work days in the lunch room using my phone and I don't have enough time to leave comments. But it is great to feel part of a network and I have to admit my horizons and focus have expanded and even shifted because of this network. Not every blog I follow follows every other blog but there is a lot of overlap (if that makes sense) so for me in a sense it is very definitely a network - and a supportive one at that.

And yes, I too am an introvert, as so many bloggers are. I am often amused that extroverts I meet seem to think introvert = shyness. I am not shy, and am very outgoing when around people. But how I love my solitary, thinking and doing times at home.

    1. I also need that time to absorb, reflect and recharge my batteries. Which can only be done, from home. Yet, also happy to converse with others when out and about too. I actually love learning from others in person. But all in moderation. ;) Thanks for visiting!

  3. It's always been a pleasure to visit, Chris. I think I love your blog for the thoughtful comments on gardening and life in general. I's not just about photos of tomatoes and loads of zucchini. And it's not just gardening...it's food and recipes; it's household improvements; it's what David and the kids are doing; it's your life!

    1. Aw, thanks Bev, for following our journey for so long. I think you knew us, back when our blog was known as, "The Bushland Project". It's great to have someone with similar experience with a bush block, chime in. Because they do so have their quirks. The bush blocks, that is. Not the owners, lol. Thanks for visiting!

    1. Since there's chocolate involved, Mr HM, it's virtually gone already! *rubs expanding waistline*. Delicious. Thanks for visiting! :)

  5. I would happily sit at your table and share chocolate biscuits with you, Chris. I would, of course, bring something homemade to add to that table and then we could sit and have a "good ole chinwag" about gardening. I'll settle for visiting you virtually though as I love following along with happening at your Gully Grove. Meg

  6. Hi Meg, I think our shared table would be full of homemade goodies and maybe some crafting projects between us. We always seem to have those on the go! I've got a couple of birthday's coming up in May, so it's time to get creative with my hands again. You wouldn't be able to leave though, without a cutting or two, from my garden. That's just mandatory between gardening friends. Thanks again for visiting. :)

  7. I'm looking forward to following you into 2019. As long as we've been doing much of what you are doing, I still learn new things from you. Carry one and Happy New Year!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I love reading what you have to share. Gully Grove is a Spam free environment though, so new commenter’s only leaving hyperlinks, will be promptly composted.
