I wanted to share a small Youtube channel I've been following, for a while. They originally came up on my feed, when I searched for permaculture videos. I was excited to note they were based in Australia (WA) so would have similar hot and dry conditions, during summer, as us.

I invite you to subscribe to their channel, and share the play list to those you think, would benefit from the information. Enjoy watching a property in WA, develop, according to permaculture principles.
Thanks, Chris! I'll check it out. I am interested in permaculture, just finished reading "Retrosuburbia" by David Holmgren (borrowed from the library) and there's lots that I love about it. Meg:)
Thanks for reminding me about that book Meg, I'll have to put in a reserve at our public library too. I was meaning to read it. I'm glad to hear it's got lots of good ideas. I heard a talk of David Holmgren, he did in New Zealand, about retrofitting the burbs. It sounded so interesting, and so doable. :)
Definitely a good site to make comparisons to ours. I like his new idea to spread the wings of their dam, to catch more run-off. Also, most of the plants which are surviving there, have done the same here. The only real difference is, they get most of their rainfall during winter - where ours always comes in the summer. :)
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I love reading what you have to share. Gully Grove is a Spam free environment though, so new commenter’s only leaving hyperlinks, will be promptly composted.

DeleteThat looks very interesting, Chris. I imagine it would be very helpful for you at your place.
